Contact Gateway Classic Cars

(618) 271-3000

Came from the factory as a 318 auto, PS, manual drum brakes car. Fender tag shows it was originally a lemon twist yellow car (FY1) with white Conv top (V3W) and Red interior (H6E4)

Now has 1970 (69 cast) 440 / 727 Torqueflite , 8 3/4 Rear end with 3:23 Sure Grip (posi)

Power disc brake conversion , 26" radiator, A/C  All wiring under hood replaced.

Gas tank and sending unit replaced.

Rally dash with new wood grain and working gauges, New Tough Wheel Steering wheel, Great interior.

Good top with plastic rear window. Converted to factory power top with new cylinders, hoses and dash bezel with factory wiring.

From underneath the frame rails are solid and floor pans are in great shape.

Painted in August 2015

New deck lid chrome and ends , New Hood molding, New wheel opening moldings, New door handles, New Mirrors, New Flip Top Gas Cap, New antenna kit, Red RT stripes. New front T/S lenses. Bumpers have been re-plated, New rear bumper guards, New door seals and trunk seal.

New Wheels and tires, Foose Legend 18". If you don't like the Foose wheels, I can change them out for either a set of 15" magnums or 15-7 ralley wheels. Or you can use your own and deduct the Foose sets value. Tires and wheels are a easy change. All we have to do is work out the numbers...

Car runs and drives good. Front end feels tight.  Gas tank and sending unit have been replaced, and gauge  works correctly.  Drives out great.

This is a very solid convertible with A/C already added. Interior is decent, top is good and it has a powerful running 440 with a new Edelbrock carb on it. Trans and engine have both been rebuilt. Rear end is a 3:23 Sure Grip .
